What is Liturgical dance? "Liturgical dance is a Christian expression of prayer or worship through body movement[1]. Such dances can be accompanied by many different types of music. The dancers will respond with an appropriate dance which flows out of the music and allegedly enhances the prayer or worship experience." – Wikipedia About Hearts on Fire
The "Hearts on Fire" Praise Dance Company is a Christian-based independent dance ministry that consists of Blair Dance Center's students from various churches uniting together with the one purpose of ministering God's word through dance. At Blair Dance Center we offer two groups of Liturgical dancers which are divided by students in grades 4-6 (Blue Group), and 7-12 (Purple Group). The students get Community and Outreach experience through being a member of this dance company.
